Full Bio

Andrea Schaffer is the founder of Not Just Broccoli Oncology Nutrition and an Oncology Nutrition Consultant specializing in metabolic and terrain-based approaches to cancer care. Her work focuses on helping individuals understand and address the underlying imbalances that may contribute to cancer development and progression, including blood sugar dysregulation, inflammation, immune function, microbiome health, toxic burden, stress, sleep, and nutrient deficiencies.

As an Certified Advanced Integrative Metabolic Specialist, Oncology Nutrition Consultant, Terrain Advocate, Functional Supplement Specialist, and Restorative Health Practitioner, Andrea uses advanced testing and individualized assessment to create personalized nutrition and lifestyle strategies for her clients.

Andrea's perspective is also deeply personal. Following the surprising discovery of an asymptomatic brain tumor on a preventative MRI scan, subsequent brain surgery, and a diagnosis of grade 3 oligodendroglioma (brain cancer), she found herself applying the same principles she teaches to her own healing journey. This unique combination of professional training and lived experience allows her to speak authentically about navigating uncertainty, making informed decisions, and becoming an active participant in one's health. Her mission is simple: to help people move from confusion and overwhelm to clarity, confidence, self advocacy and action.
