What is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP)?

As an FNTP, I help my clients get to know and understand their bodies so that they can embark on their personal journeys toward abundant health. While FNTPs do not diagnose or treat disease, I guide my clients to nourish themselves with whole foods that work for their individual bodies and to address nutritional imbalances that may be causing unpleasant symptoms or dysfunction. By supplying the body with the building blocks it needs to function optimally, the body is able to heal itself.

While working together, I will suggest therapeutic nutritional protocols, supplements, lifestyle adjustments and stress reduction techniques. One thing that makes Nutritional Therapy unique is  that FNTPs use a hands-on functional evaluation and Lingual- Neuro testing to determine what your bio-individual body needs to feel its best. I will palpate specific points on the body that correlate with the organs and systems within the body to determine where there is discomfort and dysfunction. I then use a bio-feedback technique called lingual-neuro testing to determine which nutrients, minerals, fats and/or foods are required by your body to heal itself. By taking the journey to discover what YOU need to feel your best, you can live life to its fullest potential!
